About Me

I graduated from Ryerson with a BComm. in Entrepreneurship & Strategy and have since spent my time working in an industry that allows me to pursue my true passion: digital marketing. I enjoy working in an environment where the entrepreneurial spirit is strong and innovation is encouraged. Currently, I am working at one of the top Digital Marketing Agencies in Canada on the SEO team. This experience has given me exposure to a wide variety of industries such as e-commerce, CPG, tech, and the auto industry. Specifically, I have strong understanding of brand management and have interacted with clients who have faced challenges such as launching products in more than one country and transitioning onto new platforms.

I am a true believer in White Hat SEO, recognizing the long-term benefits to clients as they are not penalized by Google and grow at a logical pace. When I am not performing audits on my clients’ websites, I am digging through their analytics or using a variety of different tools like Majestic SEO, Ahrefs, and SEMRUSH to find new link building opportunities they can harness. I am always curious and looking to improve, and spend some of my free time taking online courses from Lynda, Udemy and Coursera. Currently, I use my own two websites as “learning playgrounds” to become better for client work.

I thrive in a collaborative environment and can often be found organizing team events for my organization’s social committee, or trying to improve the efficiency of time-consuming tasks. I have been told that my main strength is my uncanny ability to not only address complex technical issues, but explain the impact of those issues in boardrooms far removed from the world of code.

I values being the client’s support and advocate within the agency, but also loves collaborative work environments where people have fun and brainstorm. I am a firm believer in using the “positivity sandwich” – say something nice, something constructively critical, then ending with something nice again when providing feedback.

Fun facts about Elliot: I am an avid reader who hopes to one day have his own study filled with shelves of books. After building my own PC, I have spent my time testing its capabilities by playing video games with my friends.

I am strongly proficient in several software such as Google Analytics & Adwords, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Microsoft Office. I also have experience using a variety of other software like: Asana, Tableau, Visio, SproutSocial, Lean Launch Lab, Trello, Mail Chimp, and SurveyMonkey
